Have a wig that is fully matted and snarled at the ends, hair has build up and lost it's tangle free tresses and softness. Here is some tips on how you can bring your extensions and wigs back to it's crown glory.
as you can see this hair is clustered on itself, the first step is to be rid of the tangles here. First step brush the tangles out, be sure to get a detangling brush for this. Brush from the bottom up and take your time on this bunches of hair. Be patient too it will take time and a built in arm workout.
Section out the hair and brush them out and be sure to remove all the tangles and braid up and pin away the hair that has been cleared.

Now what you will have left is these frayed ends. The hair is dry and the individual hairs are separate and spread out. what to do now? Now it's time to get the hair to gather again.
Just on the ends of the hair apply a curly moisturizing hair mask to just the ends of the hair while dry.
This will cause the hairs to gather and take in some hydration. leave this on the ends overnight, it will be dry and hardened in the morning just to warn you.

After you will dip hair in warm water and press in gently to break up the hard outer layer, then gently rinse out in warm water. let hair dry out for a couple of days. you are free to blowdry but this will dry out the hair. after the hair has fully dried you will brush all the hair out again.
